Porsche 911 GT3 R of Rowe Racing wins the 24-hour classic

The Porsche customer team Rowe Racing has won the 2020 Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race under the most difficult conditions. After 527 laps, the No. 98 Porsche 911 GT3 R driven by Nick Tandy, Earl Bamber and Laurens Vanthoor crossed the finish line at the endurance classic in Belgium’s Ardennes in first place.

This marks the eighth outright victory of a racing vehicle from Porsche at the storied race since it was first held in 1924. Last year, the GPX Racing squad with works drivers Kévin Estre (France), Michael Christensen (Denmark) and Richard Lietz (Austria) won. A total of six Porsche 911 GT3 R finished this year’s 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in the top 15.
