We – Scheiffele-Schmiederer KG – with currently six locations in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, are one of the leading, family-run timber wholesale companies with associated production in southern Germany.

The ranges and trends of the leading manufacturers in all classic product groups of the timber trade – supplemented by products from our own production – make SCS a powerful specialist in modern wooden construction. In addition, specialist wood markets and “Wood in the Garden” exhibitions round off the SCS range of services. Almost 200 dedicated employees and top logistics also contribute every day to ensuring that the right goods arrive at the right place at the right time.

With the new building of our corporate headquarters in Gundremmingen, we have marked a new chapter in our traditional history. With an automatic warehouse that is unique in the timber industry, we achieve new dimensions in the area of ​​availability. At our company headquarters in Gundremmingen alone, 50,000 m³ of products can be stored in a hall area of ​​40,000 m² (10,000 m² of which is completely UV protected).
By connecting to a state-of-the-art warehouse management system, we guarantee the fastest availability in a dynamic market. In addition, every single timber joist goes through our quality control using a scanner before being stored. By picking the timber joists as gently as possible using vacuum suction technology, we guarantee a constant, reliable SCS top quality.
